The Noodle AFO incorporates a hemi-spiral strut providing greater flexibility and durability than standard carbon fiber AFOs. The strut originates on the medial or lateral footplate and spirals around to the opposite cuff side. This patented strut provides dorsiflexion assist during swing phase and initial contact, as well as allow plantarflexion assist at terminal stance to simulate normal ankle musculature resulting in an improved gait. This AFO is a great solution for users with varying degrees of drop foot. The Noodle is highly customizable and has many options which are listed below.

Your “Noodle” brace is quite remarkable. I’ve had your latest creation for a few months now, and have used it under all sorts of conditions. Hiking on the level, up hill and down hill and in mud. I’ve probably got a few hundred miles on it by now. This specialized design makes all the difference. Until your Noodle arrived, with the stiffness tailored to my 200+ body weight, I’d never managed to get heel lift. The main differences are reduction in fatigue-leading to greater hiking range and increased stability on rough terrain.
