The position of the cuff creates a stiffer device used to increase knee stability. This patented design provides dorsiflexion assist during swing phase and initial contact, as well as allow plantarflexion assist at terminal stance to simulate normal ankle musculature resulting in an improved gait.   This lightweight AFO is a great solution for patients lacking plantarflexion strength or have difficulty with donning and doffing.
