About Us

Engineering Carbon Fiber Solutions That Move With Life

We design and manufacture carbon fiber orthotic and prosthetic devices that are lighter, stronger, and more dynamic than traditional AFOs—built to serve real people with real needs.

Built to Challenge the Status Quo

Kinetic Research has grown over the years from a passion to constantly innovate and improve the application of orthotics and prosthetics

After completing school and internship, Wade Bader founded Bader Prosthetics and Orthotics, a comprehensive clinic based in Tampa, FL. He made the commitment to provide his patients with the most state-of-the-art orthopedic devices available. It was in this commitment that he discovered limitations with plastic AFOs, which were the standard of care at that time. Wade felt that he could do more for his patients if he could harness the kinetic energy used in advanced composite materials. It took years of research, material development and several patents to achieve this goal.

Today, more than 30 years later, Kinetic Research is recognized as a key innovator and world leader in composite orthotic technology. Kinetic Research continues its tradition of excellence and commitment to maximizing patient potential with each orthosis fabricated.

For over 30 years, Kinetic Research has focused on delivering high-quality, performance-driven lower extremity orthotics using advanced materials and patented technology. From custom solutions to pre-fabricated options, everything we build is engineered to support better outcomes—and backed by a team who stands behind every product.
